老巷子的由来与城市发展紧紧关联，忠县作为目前三峡库区唯一保留原貌的旧城，留住了巴渝乡愁和三峡风情根与魂的历史文化街区，“三峡留城 . 忠州巷子”的其中一条承载了厚重历史底蕴的街区。
The origin of the old lane is closely related to the development of the city. As the only old city in the Three Gorges reservoir area, Zhongxian County has retained the historical and cultural district of Ba-Yu's nostalgia and the Three Gorges' customs and soul, while one of the "Three Gorges City, the old Zhongzhou Lane" bears a lot of historical background.
忠州巷子全长近2公里，目前已完成一、二期的建设。这里作为忠县的历史人文承载地，文化创意产业孵化地，城市更新示范标杆，已多次得到国家级领导人，各地行政机关的考察交流。2023年十一期间，老街迎来5天破8万的客流高峰，成为忠县城市文旅产业的金名片之一。
Zhongzhou Old Lane, with a total length of 2KM， has completed the construction of Phase I and Phase II. As the historical and cultural bearing place of Zhongxian County, the incubator of cultural and creative industry, and the benchmark of urban renewal demonstration, it has been inspected and exchanged by national leaders and administrative organs of various places for many times. During November 2023, the Old Street has ushered in a peak passenger flow of more than 80,000 in 5 days, becoming one of the golden business cards of the urban cultural tourism industry in Zhongxian County.
Public Cultural Space
东坡花园、非遗展馆对公众免费开放，一草一木、一砖一瓦所构成的空间，展现着老街的质朴故事。每一个展品都来源于百姓的原真生活，记录下老街平凡却不平淡的岁月过往，是忠县唯一保留住老城记忆的城市人文会客厅。
Dongpo Garden and Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Hall are open to the public free of charge. The space formed by one grass, one tree, one brick and one tile shows the simple story of the old street. Every exhibit comes from the original life of the common people, recording the past of ordinary but not ordinary years in the old street. It is the only city cultural parlor that retains the memory of the old city in Zhongxian County.
在街区内，近千年历史的东门城墙、龙家院子、苏家梯子、大府邸、饶家院子等文物古遗存和传统古建筑，以及数量众多的传统川东民居，蕴含了忠县独有的汉阙文化、忠文化以及儒家文化。
In the old street, the Dongmen City Wall, Long's Courtyard, Su's Ladder, Grand Mansion, Rao's Courtyard, cultural relics and traditional buildings with a history of nearly one thousand years, as well as a large number of traditional folk houses in East Sichuan, contain the unique Hanque culture, Zhongxian culture and Confucian culture.
New Life in the Real Estate Industry
向上生长. 向下扎根是街区风貌改造的产业导入主旨， 既坚定地保留着已是老人们生活中不可缺少的部分老店，也在其中穿插着因地制宜的文创型业态。

老街现开放区域建筑面积约3万平方米，包括东坡书屋、川剧院以及后火锅、老巷子民宿、陶艺店铺、时光银饰、老街茶社等30余家店铺。

老巷子酒店相邻滨江路，推门见江，风景宜人，共计约50房间，可同时容纳近300人入住。
